We are saddened to inform you of the passing of Marshall Resnik, husband of Diane Resnik, father of Matthew (Anat) Resnik, Ari (Lauren) Resnik and Reina Resnik (David) and grandfather of eight.

He was born in Chicago, Illinois to Bertha and Arnold Resnik. He married the love of his life, Diane Bass, his wife of 58 years. In 1963, without a job but filled with optimism and hope, he and Diane moved to Los Angeles where they started their family, joined VBS Synagogue in its earliest years and raised their three children. Marshall was a burst of energy. He fiercely loved his family and his passion for Israel was second to none.

The funeral will be held on Tuesday, July 13, at 12:30 pm, at Mount Sinai Memorial Park Simi Valley.
