Tiffany Haddish, who is Jewish on her father’s side, will talk about that side of her heritage in her next Netflix comedy special, “Black Mitzvah.” Haddish’s father, Tsihaye Reda Haddish, was an Eritrean refugee who was born in Ethiopia to a Jewish family. His daughter visited Eritrea in 2018 to meet with relatives and became a naturalized citizen of the country in May of this year.
