Rosner’s Torah Talk: Parshat Vaera with Lise Stern

[additional-authors]
January 14, 2021

Our guest this week is Lise Stern from Hebrew College.

In Parshat Vaera Moses and Aaron repeatedly come before Pharaoh to demand “Let My people go”. Pharaoh refuses. Aaron’s staff turns into a snake and swallows the magic sticks of the Egyptian sorcerers. God then sends a series of plagues upon the Egyptians. Seven of them are counted in our parsha.

Our discussion focuses on the relations between Pharaoh and Moses.
