On Dec. 6, 2014, Adam Levine and Maroon 5 crashed weddings around Los Angeles, surprising newlywed couples by performing their song “Sugar” for a music video. That video has racked up more than 2.5 billion views and has now inspired a new series of the same name, executive produced by Levine.

Launching on YouTube Premium on Aug. 15, the eight-episode series will follow stars including Blake Shelton, Kelly Clarkson, Charlie Puth, Snoop Dogg, Fifth Harmony and Maroon 5 as they surprise deserving fans that have given back to their communities with pop-up performances.

“I’m really excited to show everyone this interesting show and experiment that is filled with many different experiences, as well as emotions, based on the concept behind our video for ‘Sugar,’” Levine said in a statement.  “I’m extremely grateful and equally excited for all who participated on both sides of the camera. It’s going to be fun to watch! I hope you like it!”

Levine will return as a coach alongside Shelton, Clarkson, and Jennifer Hudson on the 15th season of “The Voice,” which has its two-hour premiere on Sept. 24 on NBC.
