Alona Tal continues her climb to the top
Israeli actress Alona Tal, who is one of the most successful Israelis in Hollywood, is joining a new US television production directed by Marc Forster, who was in charge of World War Z and James Bond film Quantum of Solace. The Amazon Studios' pilot for the new series, called Hand of God, will begin shooting soon. Tal, according to the Deadline Hollywood website, will play the main character’s daughter-in-law, and if the pilot is approved, she would set as a series regular.

Cooking your way to India
Indian Ambassador to Israel Jaideep Sarkar has announced an Indian cooking competition. The winner will receive two plane tickets to India, including a dreamlike week in a hotel. The contest, named “Cooking Indian – Flying to India,” will include several stages. The big finale will be held in several weeks at the ambassador's residence in Herzliya Pituach, in a festive event with dozens of guests.
