Like last year’s “White Album” deluxe issuing and the prior year’s expanded “Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band” reissue, all of the new “Abbey Road” releases – available in CD, LP, multi-disc and limited-edition formats feature the new stereo album mix, sourced directly from the original eight-track session tapes. To produce these mixes, Giles Martin was notably guided by the album’s original stereo mix supervised by his father, George Martin.
