The Philadelphia Jewish Exponent has been named “Best Overall Weekly Newspaper” in the state of Pennsylvania.

The honor was bestowed by the Keystone Pro Chapter of the Society of Professional Journalists for work done in 2009. The paper is led by Executive Editor Lisa Hostein, a former editor of JTA.
