A Moment in Time: One Voice. One Action. One Moment in Time.

March 22, 2019
Dear all,
Purim. A festival of levity. But also a festival of action. It recalls the story of Esther, who stood up to her husband, the King of Persia, when his Prime Minister, Haman, plotted to annihilate the Jews. She spoke out, and her courage shifted the course of history.
We celebrate today because we survived.
But in addition to having carnivals and enjoying spiels, we need to remember: all it takes is one voice to make a difference. And all it takes is one action to inspire change.
One voice. One action. One moment in time.
With love and Shalom,
Rabbi Zach Shapiro
