About the revealing of Torah at mount Sinai it says “all the nations saw the voices.” Emily wants to express the depth and beauty of her synesthesiac Sinai Experience through art and music, the colors her soul knows at the rock of its truth, in its unique and clear vibration. Her work and vision helps in creating a place of peace, with tender ecological practices, healing embrace of all, and praise of God. She studied Torah at Nishmat, the Advanced Center of Torah Study for Women, and acting at the Stella Adler studio through New York University's Tisch School of the Arts (BFA Drama 2005). She was a Drisha Arts Fellow and is currently lecturing and exhibiting “Wells of Miriam,” a photography project that visually, halachically, functionally, mystically, and theologically explores the dimensions of overlap between mikvaot (ritual baths of transformation,) and global healing through promoting the ground's retention of rainwater (natural forms of water regeneration and ecological renewal.) She directed her children's songbook, “The World's A Song: So Come and Play” at Eden Village Camp and is seeking to publish it in book form. Her musical album, “Birth Day,” an epic exploration of divine feminine archetypal energy.
