All because Charles Bronfman, Michael Steinhardt, and their group of Jewish Philanthropists were determined to bring young Jewish adults to their ancestral homeland.

<strong>Shari: </strong>Yes. I became a Bat Mitzvah right at the Kotel or Western Wall. I was so excited! Now I have a strong connection to Israel and Judaism. I’m motivated to act on these changes. I decided that I want to learn about Kabbalah, will be volunteering twice a month at home, and returning to Israel to do volunteer work there. Becoming a Bat Mitzvah (for the first time in my life) was the best way I could show my new passion.</p>
