Dear all,

Temple Akiba is so blessed to have a a teen program whose participants fill our building weekly, love one another, and give of their hearts to make the world better.

Pictured here are some of the members of our High School senior class. Many have been with us since birth.

As they prepare for their next chapter in life, I think about the essential values we have explored:

Honoring family.

Loving their neighbor.

Not judging others.

Welcoming strangers.

Studying of sacred texts.

Connecting our hearts with Israel.

Pursuing Social Justice.

Combating Antisemitism.

Asking questions.

Harnessing a moment in time.

If you were to add a value, what would it be? How can we best prepare our teens to be live as mensches, to participate in Jewish life, and to become leaders with Jewish souls?

The world now inherits these incredible young people! As for Temple Akiba, another generation of teens will come forward. And our dreams begin anew.

With love and shalom.
