Thank you USA Travel IPW 2021! It was great to be back in person and talk TRAVEL!
What is IPW?
U.S. Travel Association’s IPW will continue to reunite and rebuild the global travel industry in 2022, providing an in-person platform to conduct business and renew our relationships around the world. As the leading inbound travel trade show, past IPWs have generated more than $5.5 billion in future travel by connecting U.S. travel exhibitors with travel buyers and media to promote their product and negotiate future business, securing America’s position as a foremost global travel destination and showcasing the best of what the U.S. has to offer.
I loved our one-on-one media marketplace meetings and walking the Brand USA hall.
The media brunch had many activities to introduce us to Las Vegas!
We had performances and prizes as well. Thank you Michelle and Nicole Kolev –the two sisters performing adagio from Mystère by Cirque de Soleil at our IPW Media Brunch 2021 on Sept 19, 2021. They were AMAZING!!!!!
Thank you to Resorts World Las Vegas for hosting our reception!
Resorts World Las Vegas opened on June 24, 2021 and seamlessly blends the technology and luxury appeal of an urban contemporary resort with the traditions and time-honored details of the international Resorts World brand. As the first integrated resort to be built on the Las Vegas Strip in over a decade, the sleek yet simple elegance of this new US$4.3 billion property was developed with the intention of bringing the elevated experience for which the Resorts World brand is known to the modern Las Vegas traveler seeking luxury, value and variety. Resorts World Las Vegas features 3,500 guest rooms and suites; an innovative, next-generation gaming floor; over 40 world-class food and beverage options; a 5,000-capacity theatre; distinct nightlife venues; an extensive retail collection boasting a wide spectrum of internationally known brands; and more.
In February 2020, Resorts World Las Vegas announced a partnership with global hospitality player, Hilton. Fusing Hilton’s decades of global industry expertise with Resorts World’s elevated service, Resorts World Las Vegas integrates three of Hilton’s premium brands into its resort campus. The development includes Las Vegas Hilton, the resort’s full-service brand; Conrad Las Vegas, Hilton’s contemporary luxury brand; and Crockfords Las Vegas, one of the first hotels to debut in the U.S from LXR, Hilton’s collection of bespoke, independent luxury properties.
I loved the synchronized swimmers from Wet Swim Show at Ayu DayClub and DJ Snake at Zouk Nightclub!
We had a private concert with DJ SNAKE at Zouk! WOW!
I loved exploring the brand new Resorts World Las Vegas. I ate at Famous Foods two days in a row and cannot wait to go back again. The robot puppies were so cute–you could almost watch them learning.
This Tisha b’Av, as we mourn over the Temple once more, it is an occasion to consider what resonance the remnants of the Temple structure hold for us today.
Coalition supporters want to define Eisenkot as a leftist because leftist is a title most Israelis do not want their Prime Minister to hold. But this definition has inherent limitations.
Last week, I moderated a panel of interfaith leaders fighting antisemtism and supporting Israel as part of the American Muslim and Multifaith Women’s Empowerment Council’s conference.
As if life needed one more complication, my anniversary with life, my birthday, usually falls somewhere inside the Three Weeks, that narrow corridor of Jewish time when celebration starts to feel suspicious.
Anti-Israelism has become a kind of cultural and political loyalty test that has almost nothing to do with the actual policy questions at stake. If the postwar liberal order is fragmenting, the story of Israel is a symptom of that fragmentation, not its cause.
The film reminded me that an ancient poet could write about massacres but also about moral courage, while terrorists who dream of killing Jews can only think of going right to the massacre.
