“Watch What Happens Live” host Andy Cohen made a big announcement on the show about himself: He’s expecting his first child via surrogate in about six weeks.

“Family means everything to me and having one of my own is something that I have wanted in my heart for my entire life. While it’s taken me longer than most to get there, I cannot wait for what I envision will be the most rewarding chapter yet,” he said, giving thanks to his faithful viewers and “a wonderful surrogate who is carrying my future.”

While he’s on baby watch, Cohen will co-host CNN’s New Year’s Eve Celebration with his friend Anderson Cooper, live from New York’s Times Square.
