Two flyers were found in Martinez, Calif., a city east of San Francisco, on June 28 containing the “white pride” white supremacist slogan.

According to Patch.com, the flyers targeted the Black Lives Matter movement as a “terrorist organization” that’s “aiming to kill white people and police officers in the name of justice of police officers killing n—– thugs in the line of duty.”

“Who will stand up for white people?” the flyer adds. “Through unification we will all be protected.”

At the bottom of the flyer are the words “white pride world wide,” which, according to the Anti-Defamation League (ADL), is part of the logo for the white supremacist website Stormfront.

Jewish groups condemned the flyers.

“The flier is an example of white supremacist propaganda filled with hate, vile racist slurs and vulgar threats of violence against our community and values,” Anti-Defamation League Central Pacific Regional Director Seth Brysk said in a statement. “Black lives matter. Menacing messages from extremists demonstrate another reason why it is an important affirmation.”

American Jewish Committee San Francisco Bay Area Associate Director Eran Hazary similarly said in a statement, “Martinez, like hundreds of cities across our country, has hosted peaceful rallies where people of all races and religions have stood together united for racial justice and equality. Juxtapose that movement to this flyer. Authored by an individual who proselytizes divisiveness, hate, and violence. This is becoming an all too often occurrence. Hate crimes and hate speech are reaching unprecedented levels in our lifetimes. We need stronger legislation such as the NO HATE Act to monitor, combat, and overcome this rising hate.”

Police are investigating the matter as a hate crime.
