While I taste the butter-filled date and honey-drizzled mofleta, I will pray that this beautiful Land of Israel, and all of its inhabitants from all faiths, be blessed with the sweetness of peace.

Is there hope on this “Lo B’Seder Seder”?

Imagine that. A Passover question asking us to actually contemplate – with pride – what makes us different as Jews.

This was a Bat Mitzvah for the present, and for our future.

The fear and pain in this photo will never heal.

Karina, Daniela, Naama and Liri. Whenever I hear those names, I bow with respect and admiration.

We’ve waited so long for this moment to greet you, to welcome you home, to hug you.

God was not in the fire, but God’s voice is within us, guiding us through yet another Hurban, another destruction, calling on us, yet again, to rebuild.
