Although budgets and initiatives to help the Ethiopian community are passed, somehow the bureaucracy absorbs much of the resources. Money gets lost in the myriad of social organizations and problems remain unresolved. Institutional discrimination or an absurdity? Probably both.
A new campaign is being run by the Israel Association for Ethiopian Jews. They have so far released two videos (subtitled in English) and led a large demonstration in Jerusalem for their rights. Israel Social TV covers the story and interviews key Ethiopian activists. Watch below:
