January 2, 2016

Please take a moment to watch this powerful story and stunning tribute delivered by Negin Yamini at the annual NewGround storytelling event.  The piece is about her father, and Iraqi Kurdish Jew, who was raised in Iran and lived in Israel until he passed away in 2013.

So proud of Negin, who is a very dear friend I first connected with through completing the Jeremiah Fellowship together for Bend the Arc: A Jewish Partnership for Justice.

Just how Negin wants to remember him.
