God gathers us
In the great, big open landscape
Of the cosmos and beyond
Exposed— saying
This is My sukkah.

Our stone houses are makeshift
Our strength is fleeting
Our walls of safety will fall after a short or long time.
But God gathers us
In Her sukkah

And says This is real.

This is forever.

This is Me.
