Just got back from a brilliant private performance by T.O.L.D. of his just released debut album “It’s Not About Witches” at the elegant SoHo House in West Hollywood.  His work has lyrics of stark beauty, with an utterly unique sound — the music of a real artist.

My favorite song is “Lucifer’s Eyes” with it’s poetic lyrics, and delicious steel drum rhythms. They gave me a CD as I left, even the photography and artwork on it is artistic and well done.  T.O.L.D. is an artist at once sophisticated and elegant, like no one you’ve ever heard before, and certainly one to watch.
