Once lost, stolen Rembrandt found in Encino church

A Rembrandt drawing worth a quarter million dollars was stolen from the Ritz-Carlton Hotel in Marina Del Rey over the weekend. Days later, an anonymous tip led sheriff’s deputies to an Encino church halfway across Los Angeles. It’s still unclear how the Rembrandt ended up there and what, if any, connection the thief had with St. Nicholas Episcopal Church.
