Shlomo Fischer and Shmuel Rosner discuss the almost daily protests aking place in Jerusalem. Who are the protesters? Why are they protesting? And how do the current protests differ from past protests?

Shlomo Fischer, a senior fellow at the Jewish People Policy Institute, teaches sociology at the School of Education at Hebrew University and at Ben-Gurion University of the Negev. He also is currently a research fellow at the Van Leer Institute. His research interests include the nexus of religion, politics and class in Israel, contemporary religion and the sociology of the Jewish people. He has published extensively on radical religious Zionism and the West Bank settlers as well as on the Shas movement.
