Iran has amassed all of the components it needs to build a nuclear weapon, and could do so in just a few months , according to officials briefed on the United Nations nuclear watchdog’s findings.

A report on Iran’s nuclear program is set to be released by the International Atomic Energy Agency early next week. But portions of the report have been leaked to international media outlets.

Iran received assistance from foreign scientists in order to solve some of its technical problems, the Washington Post reported. The experts came from Russia, Pakistan and North Korea, according to the newspaper.

Iran continued to conduct nuclear weapons-related research after 2003, according to IAEA intelligence, despite the fact that U.S. intelligence agencies believed Iran had halted such experiments in response to pressure from the international community, according to the Washington Post.

Meanwhile, Israeli Defense Minister Ehud Barak on Tuesday said that Israel has not decided whether to launch an attack on Iran’s nuclear facilities, in an interview on Israel Radio.

“War is not a picnic. We want a picnic. We don’t want a war,” Barak said. He added, however, that all options to halt Iran’s nuclear march should remain open.
