Since well before the German agitator Wilhelm Marr first utilized the phrase “antisemitism” in the late-19th century (in order to make Jew-hatred sound race-based, scientific and academic), the formula for justifying antisemitism and inciting Jew-hatred has been to find what people hate, fear or are most upset about, and attach it to the Jewish people.
I was raised to be diplomatic, but in this case, I’ll be blunt: I can’t take Omar anymore.

No longer will the denial of the collective rights of Jews to exist in their ancestral homeland be acceptable. No longer will supporters of Israel (or, Zionists) be demonized by academics, congresspersons or people on the streets.
There were rabbis, there were arguments, there was fretting over the future, there was mishpacha.
