Israel seals off West Bank

Israel has sealed off the West Bank for 48 hours for fear of Arab rioting.\n\nThe closure, which began Thursday night and will last until Saturday, will prevent men under 50 from attending Friday prayers on the Temple Mount in Jerusalem. Israel has sealed off the West Bank for 48 hours for fear of Arab rioting.

The closure, which began Thursday night and will last until Saturday, will prevent men under 50 from attending Friday prayers on the Temple Mount in Jerusalem. In recent weeks, there have been clashes following Friday prayers in Jerusalem and elsewhere. Israeli officials feared riots could break out.
