Over the past several weeks the world has watched as Israel has taken action in Gaza. From the intense bombing raids that marked the beginning of the war on Dec. 27 to the current images of Israeli troops in the suburbs of Gaza City, the media accounts of the impact of the war on the residents of Gaza have been omnipresent.
