Letters to the Editor: Pirkei Avot, Europe and Donald Trump
I just saw the Jewish Journal’s cover (“What’s in the Book?” Dec. 2). And love it. I have taught Pirkei Avot twice a week for the last 27 years and for all of my business and life.

Dennis Prager declares Good triumphed over Evil by stating: “Turns out the whole Democratic Party lost hugely on Election Day” (“Please Keep Calling Us Racists and Misogynists,” Nov. 18).
As a 12-year-old Holocaust survivor, I came to the United States in late 1949. Even at that young age, I was aware of the McCarthy hearings and witch hunts of the times.
Your cover photo of President-elect Donald Trump (Nov. 11) makes him look like he’s crying.
I was furious to read about Rabbi Sholom Levitansky, who will be treated at Beit T’Shuvah rather than doing jail time for pedophile sexual abuse (“Rabbi Charged With Sex Abuse to Get 1 Year of Counseling, No Prison,” Nov. 4).
I am a 90-year-old African-American lady who takes exception to Dennis Prager’s article (“Which Do You Love More: Football or America?” Oct. 14).
I really loved Eitan Arom’s cover story (“L.A.’s Boldest Plan Ever to Help the Homeless,” Oct. 14) with its beautiful depiction of “Faces of Homelessness” as well as the strong support of Measure HHH.
