In 2008, I was hired to interview two brothers, Marty and Leon Sturman, to record stories and memories about their personal and family history. Their beloved older brother, Herman (“Hermie”) had passed away some years before, but his widow, Gladys, joined her brothers-in law in reminiscing about the Sturman family. The interactions between Gladys, Marty and Leon illustrate what “family” can really mean. Their love, laughter and vivid shared memories are apparent in this 12 minute excerpt from their full family history video.
