Another round of riots at the Israel-Gaza border occurred on Sept. 7, resulting one Palestinian dead and 94 injured, according to the Hamas-run Gaza Health Ministry.

There were around 7,000 rioters along the border; the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) tweeted that the rioters were throwing Molotov cocktails, rocks, and burning tires at Israeli soldiers, as well as launching incendiary kites and balloons toward the Israeli side of the border. In response, the IDF struck two Hamas outposts.

The kites and balloons ignited two fires on the Israeli border, one of which stemmed from a kite tied to a burning tire landing on a Keren Shalom antennae.

Around 30 of the injured Palestinians were from Israeli soldiers’ gunfire when they attempted to breach the fence. Some Palestinian social media posts have claimed that there were some successful breaches of the fence, although this has yet to be confirmed. The one Palestinian that died was a 17-year-old.

The riots also featured Palestinians hanging and lighting fire to effigies of Trump, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Israeli Defense Minister Avigdor Lieberman.
