From the YouTube page:

Rev. Jackson says Obama will end Zionist U.S. control

It’s no mystery what the Rev. Jesse Jackson wants to do to Barack Obama’s nuts—cut them off—but know the self-styled spokesman for African Americans is looking help Obama lose the Jewish vote. As you know, that is already enough of an issue.

Here’s what Jackson had to say at the World Policy Forum in France last week:

He promised “fundamental changes” in US foreign policy—saying America must “heal wounds” it has caused to other nations, revive its alliances and apologize for the “arrogance of the Bush administration.”

The most important change would occur in the Middle East, where “decades of putting Israel’s interests first” would end.

Jackson believes that, although “Zionists who have controlled American policy for decades” remain strong, they’ll lose a great deal of their clout when Barack Obama enters the White House.

“Obama is about change,” Jackson told me in a wide-ranging conversation. “And the change that Obama promises is not limited to what we do in America itself. It is a change of the way America looks at the world and its place in it.”

Zionists control American foreign policy? Really? That comment reminds me of Richard Dawkins’ slander last year, and it seems in line with the thinking of “The Israel Lobby.”

There is no question Jews play a disproportionate role in American politics. But this is unsophisticated scapegoating.

After the jump, “South Park” skewers Rev. Jackson:

New York ballot lists ‘Barack Osama’

I missed this story at the end of last week, but Stephen Colbert picked up on it last night (at the end of the above clip):

Who is running for president? In an upstate New York county, hundreds of voters have been sent absentee ballots in which they could vote for “Barack Osama.”

The absentee ballots sent to voters in Rensselaer County identified the two presidential candidates as “Barack Osama” and “John McCain.” In the United States, the best-known individual named Osama is Osama bin Laden, leader of the al Qaida terrorist group behind the 2001 attacks that destroyed the World Trade Center in New York City.

D’oh.

If Jesus ran for president …

He is the one and only Jesus Christ. But is that enough to qualify him to lead the most powerful country in the world? If Jesus campaigned for the White House, his opponent just might run this attack ad.

“Jesus Christ,” the narrator concludes, “wrong for your family, wrong for America.”

John McCain, who has his own Jesus problem, is identified at the end as the politician behind the YouTube spot.

Evil Jew, league applicant, will ‘cut you down to circumcise’

The applications are in for membership in the Evil League of Evil. You’ve never heard of the ELE? Here’s a little background from Geekdad:

Last summer, Doctor Horrible’s Sing-Along Blog captured our imaginations and, yes, our hearts with the tragic tale of a man, a woman, a hero, and a Freeze Ray. This highly successful internet musical not only added Wonderflonium to our collective vocabulary, it also made it alright to cheer for the bad guys. But what about those among us who want to be the bad guys?

Those readers may be interested to know that Bad Horse’s ultra-exclusive cadre of malcontents and ne’re-do-wells, the Evil League of Evil, is currently seeking new applicants. (Apparently Dead Bowie and Fake Thomas Jefferson aren’t exactly pulling their weight.)

Requirements included being evil. “It’s a plus to have a name.” And the league offered these points of clarification:

  1. Henchmen need not apply. Please contact your union.

  2. Evil can be something of a family affair.

  3. We’re evil, not stupid.

  4. Finalists may be contacted by the League or its agents.

This certainly beats the invitation to create your own religion. But I’ve got no evil shtick. I actually strive for the opposite.

Tur-Mohel, though—“he’ll cut you down/to circumcise”—he’s one bad Jew I wouldn’t want to mess with.

How evil is he? Well, he and his minyan once conspired to circumcise the statue of David. (The Yiddishist’s “Fight Club” plot failed because marble foreskin isn’t so easy to remove.) Enjoy:

Ohio voters spew hate about Obama

I know I’ve been heavy on posting videos today, but you’ve got to watch this Al-Jazeera report on Ohio voters. In two minutes folks at this rally with Sarah Palin repeat more rumors and slanders of Barack Obama than I even knew existed. I don’t believe that people who don’t like Obama are racist, but there is no question some of these voters are. Take a listen. It’s terrifying.
