This week, I would like to introduce you to a beautiful organization named Save a Child’s Heart (SACH.) It is an Israel-based international humanitarian project, whose mission is to improve the quality of pediatric cardiac care for children from developing countries who suffer from heart disease, and to create centers of competence in these countries.

To date the organization has provided care to over 3,000 children from 46 countries, many of them come from areas ravaged by war and nature such as Iraq, Haiti, Sri Lanka and the Palestinian Authority. Since the vast majority of SACH’s patients are unable to afford medical treatments, the organization and its partners cover all medical costs from the moment a child comes under its care until they have fully recovered – even if they require a lifetime of check-ups.

SACH is dedicated to the idea that every child deserves the best medical treatment available, regardless of the child's nationality, religion, color, gender or financial situation. You can read more
