It is important to expose and combat antisemitism and anti-Zionism with all our might. But is our messaging unwittingly actually leading to an increase in Jew-hatred?

With our children and grandchildren, we thought that the American Dream would continue to thrive and expand. But it seems that American society is increasingly marred by antisemitism, racism and violence.

The “victim mentality” reinforces our victimhood. Let’s look beyond this; let’s develop a positive, confident mentality.

The challenge to modern Jews is to remain faithful to their distinctive mitzvot while maintaining a universalistic ethical idealism.
