” target=”_blank”>I want to express my gratitude to everyone who reads We Said Go Travel.
Many years ago, ” target=”_blank”>memoir I co-wrote. I had no idea that We Said Go Travel would grow and introduce me to so many people.
About a year after I started the site, a friend told me writing was not enough. She said I needed to also now create videos. I was not really sure it was a good idea but I got a used cisco flip camera and started filming. A fifth grader taught me iMovie during recess one day at the school where I was an elementary school science teacher and the next phase began.
At this point, I have I recently read Tommy Spaulding’s book, “ “We’ve moved into a servanthood economy—one in which our greatest value is found in how we serve each other and our greater communities. To build a sustainable organization in the twenty-first century, we must add value to something and someone other than ourselves.”
I hope that you find value in We Said Go Travel. Personally, I appreciate everyone who has supported me and the site. I am honored that nearly 2000 people have chosen to share their stories in the 10 I loved when Spaulding said: “The most important thing in your life is not what you do or who you know; it’s who you become.” I am proud of who I am becoming and I appreciate all of you for reading, participating and being there. Thank you!
