Simply put, Adam Richman is a renowned TV personality, executive producer and author, and he is the host of the new HISTORY Channel series “Adam Eats The 80s.” A new and nostalgic food-focused series that has Richman reliving his favorite decade and foods of all time, it is not Richman’s only work with HISTORY, as a new season of the network’s popular non-fiction series “The Food That Built America” was recently announced.

In “Adam Eats The 80s,” viewers relive this “tubular” decade by joining Richman on a journey back to where these brands all began, learn about the amazing secrets never revealed, and watch as Richman tries versions of products that were never intended for the public. Per Richman himself in a prepared statement: “The 80s was a loud, lovable, dynamic and delicious neon explosion of a decade: the music, the moments, the fashion and of course, the food!” Continued Richman: “As someone who grew up during the 1980s and is still obsessed with the decade, working on ‘Adam Eats The 80s’ has been the best adventure ever, going back in time… to rediscover and relive these iconic tastes and treats.”

Further interesting about Adam Richman, beyond his work on a variety of great projects, is the Brooklyn native attended a Solomon Schechter school through eighth grade and then a Talmud Torah high school. This briefly came up during our Zoom-based conversation on March 4, 2022, as embedded below. In conversation, Richman proves to be every much as likable, animated, knowledgeable and passionate about his craft as he does when hosting for television.
