Take your pick of three plays with Jewish themes on Los Angeles stages this weekend: \”Storm in Heaven,\” a tense drama set in Vienna in 1935, concerns a young Jewish woman\’s allegations of sexual abuse and her subsequent psychoanalysis at the hands of Sigmund Freud.
An evening of great songs awaits you at UCLA tonight, with the collaboration of Alan Bergman and Karen Morrow. Bergman, with his wife Marilyn, has won three Academy Awards, four Emmys and two Grammys for projects including the scores for such classic films as \”The Way We Were\” and \”Yentl.\”
One of the most prolific playwrights in America and a finalist for the Pulitzer Prize, Richard Greenberg is produced quite often in Southern California, with his plays regularly presented at the South Coast Rep.
