Rosenberg Cultural Center – Cultural Competency

Rita Loy, leader of the South Bay Transgender Support Group, will discuss the history of the transgender community and how we can be supportive of transgender people in our own community— from pronouns to the right questions to acceptance. After lunch, Rita will screen the film Trans, a 2013                       documentary about Dr. Christine McGinn and her work as a gender surgery specialist. $12/Members,                           $14 Non-Members
