RHAPSODY 1939 – 1945

In 1946, Leo Spellman, a Holocaust survivor, wrote a moving piece of music called RHAPSODY 1939 – 1945. It sat on a shelf for more than 50 years before it was heard again. I have rearranged this piece for a 40 piece Concert Band, and I will be giving its World Premiere on May 28, 2017, 3:00 pm, St. Paul’s                        Basilica, 83 Power St. Toronto, Ontario.
