Lawrence Halprin Exhibition

“The Landscape Architecture of Lawrence Halprin” is a traveling photography exhibition that focuses on the life and work of the renowned landscape architect (1916-2009). Halprin was based in San Francisco but designed projects throughout the United States and Israel. In Los Angeles, he’s known for his postmodernist projects, including the Los Angeles Open Space Network and Plaza Las Fuentes in Pasadena. The exhibition debuted in 2016 at the National Building Museum in Washington, D.C., as part of the centennial anniversary of Halprin’s birth. The exhibition runs through Dec. 31.
