Marianne Ihlen and Leonard Cohen met on the Greek island of Hydra and spent much of the 1960s intertwined in a love affair. Leonard, a struggling and unknown fiction writer, and Marianne a single mother, became part of an idyllic 1960’s bohemian community of expert artists, writers, and musicians. With their affair as a backdrop, the film tells the story of Cohen’s career and the unlikely rise of a poet who became a successful musician. 12:00 p.m. $5 per ticket includes Lunch & Popcorn
