The Babi Yar Memorial, where nearly 34,000 Jews were slaughtered by the Nazis, was damaged after the Russians launched a missile against the nearby Kyiv TV Tower, the capital’s main television tower.

Jewish Groups React to Russian Invasion of Ukraine
Russia launched the invasion against Ukraine on February 24; Russian President Vladimir Putin alleged that the invasion is necessary to “denazify” Ukraine. The Associated Press (AP) reported that Putin was depicting “members of Ukrainian right-wing groups as neo-Nazis, exploiting their admiration for WWII-era Ukrainian nationalist leaders who sided with the Nazis.”
Duke SSI Chapter Reinstated
“Almost four months after the veto of our club, tonight the Duke Student Government did the right thing and unanimously approved SSI to be officially registered on campus again, like it should have been from the very beginning,” SSI announced in an email to supporters.
