Jewish Groups React to Salman Rushdie Stabbing
Various Jewish groups have issued statements and tweets expressing support for novelist Salman Rushdie after he was stabbed multiple times during an August 12 event.

“Such indiscriminate rocket fire of Islamic Jihad provoking Israeli retaliation is condemned,” Muscroft wrote in the since-deleted tweet. “The safety of all civilians is paramount—the ceasefire must be upheld.”
The final vote tallies showed Omar garnering 50.3% of the vote and Samuels with 48.2%––a difference of approximately 2,500 votes.
Along the walls of the trail were swastikas and the words “white power” spray-painted in red.
