“This strategy will raise understanding about antisemitism and the threat it poses to the Jewish community and all Americans, address antisemitic harassment and abuse both online and offline, seek to prevent antisemitic attacks and incidents, and encourage whole-of-society efforts to counter antisemitism and build a more inclusive nation.”

“Hate crimes tear at the fabric of our society and traumatize entire communities,” ADL CEO Jonathan Greenblatt said in a statement. “The failure by major states and cities across the country to report hate crime data essentially – and inexcusably – erases the lived experience of marginalized communities across the country.”
The report, which was released on December 7, found that the total number of antisemitic hate crimes in the country was 81 in 2021; the year before it was 76.
