(HISTORY)
If you haven’t made the short trip south to San Diego to see the incredible Dead Sea Scrolls exhibition, you have only a few more days to catch it! The exhibit’s run has been extended through Jan. 6 in response to overwhelming public demand. After that date, the artifacts will return to their countries of origin — Israel, Jordan, Russia, England and the United States — and the rapidly deteriorating scrolls, which date from 250 B.C.E.. to 68 C.E., may never travel outside of Israel again. $10-$28. San Diego Natural History Museum, 1788 El Prado, Balboa Park, San Diego. (619) 232-3821. ” target=”_blank”>http://www.metrogallery.org.

Art For Life Gallery houses her user-friendly collection of paintings and design accoutrement — the perfect décor for jazzing up a blank wall. 6 p.m. Free. Private studio, 12307 Ventura Blvd., Studio City. (818) 298-5049.
