Seinfeld web-only series to return for third season

Today saw the release of the trailer of Jerry Seinfeld's web-only series, “Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee” which will return for a third season on Jan. 2 and feature comedians Howard Stern, Tina Fey, Louis C.K., Jay Leno, Patton Oswald and Todd Barry.

Which is great news for Jews who love Jerry – and for comedy fans, duh – as “Comedians in Cars..” is the best talk show that does not have a sofa, warmed-up live studio audience and fake backdrop of a city in it.

In all seriousness, the lineup looks great, and it's nice to see Fay (“30 Rock,” “Saturday Night Live) in the mix. Over the course of two seasons, 16 episodes and more than 20 guests, Sarah Silverman has been the only other woman to be featured in the show, based on a cursory look at the show's website.

The show features Seinfeld interviewing a fellow comedian en route to a coffee shop from behind the wheel of a designer vehicle.

Past guests have included Larry David, Mel Brooks, Carl Reiner, Alec Baldwin, Chris Rock and many more.
