A Contemporary Look at the Jewish Past in Poland
The late British photojournalist Chris Schwarz and Jonathan Webber, vice-chair of the Institute for Polish-Jewish Studies in Oxford, spent 12 years gathering material that offers a completely new way of looking at Poland’s Jewish past. Presented by Pepperdine’s Diane and Guilford Glazer Institute of Jewish Studies, the photographs and text of this exhibition piece together the relics of Jewish life and culture in Polish Galicia, which can still be seen today.
