FX’s new miniseries “Fosse/Verdon,” is channeling the New York theater world to explore the relationship between filmmaker/choreographer Bob Fosse and dancer Gwen Verdon.

The eight-part limited series about Fosse and Verdon’s personal and professional relationship features many members of the Tribe who are also playing ones on TV.

The cast includes Evan Handler as Hal Prince, Paul Reiser as Cy Feuer and Ethan Slater as Joel Grey. Broadway luminaries Neil Simon, Joan Simon and Paddy Chayefsky are also in the mix (portrayed by Nate Corddry, Aya Cash and Norbert Leo Butz, respectively).

Based on Sam Wasson’s biography “Fosse,” the miniseries stars Sam Rockwell as Fosse and Michelle Williams as Verdon. Thomas Kail, Steven Levenson, Lin-Manuel Miranda and Joel Fields are producing for Fox 21 Television Studios. The series is set for a spring 2019 debut on FX.
