In Recognition of World Kindertransport Day The Southern California Kindertransport Association Celebrates Rescuers … Then and Now. In 1938 and 1939, rescuers in England and Europe organized groups of children persecuted by the Nazis to flee to England for safety during the months leading up to the start of WW II.
As survivors and descendants of this rescue operation, called the Kindertransport, SoCal KTA celebrates the rescuers from that, and other genocides.
