Four Israeli universities ranked in world’s top 300

Four Israeli universities are among the 300 best in the world, according to the influential QS World University Rankings, which take into account research, teaching, graduate employability, and international outlook. The Hebrew University of Jerusalem was named the best university in Israel, coming in 138th overall — just behind Dartmouth College and just ahead of the University of Virginia. The Technion — Israel Institute of Technology was Israel’s next highest, at 190th, followed by Tel Aviv University, at 195th, and Ben-Gurion University, at 292nd.

Another wave of support from Hollywood

After first expressing their support for Israel during Operation Protective Edge, members of the film industry posted an additional ad Saturday in the New York Times which included 300 of Hollywood's most prominent figures expressing their “commitment to peace and justice.” The stars, including Arnold Schwarzenegger, Sarah Silverman and Seth Rogen, have already planned their next target, setting their sights on Europe, particularly Germany and the city of London, where many they feel cultural figures operate against Israel.
