Dr Jonathan Rynhold is the director of the Argov Center for the study of Israel and the Jewish People; a senior researcher at the BESA Center for Strategic Studies and a senior lecturer in Political Studies, all at Bar-Ilan University. During the up-coming academic year, he will be on sabbatical at George Washington University, Washington DC.

Dr Rynhold’s research has focused on both U.S.-Israeli relations and Israeli political culture and foreign policy. He has published widely on these subjects and is frequently quoted in the international media on these matters. Dr Rynhold is currently completing a book manuscript on American political culture and attitudes towards the Arab-Israeli conflict.

Dr Rynhold has also been heavily involved in the campaign to combat the assault on Israel’s legitimacy.
