A mild earthquake rocked the Haifa area.

The earthquake, which struck Monday at around 4 p.m., was centered near Kfar Hasidim in northern Israel. It registered 3.0 on the Richter scale.

It was the second earthquake to strike northern Israel in less than a month. On March 20, an earthquake registering 3.6 on the Richter Scale was centered north of the Sea of Galilee.
