The 2016 elections are expected to be fairly calm when it comes to Jewish House candidates. Of the current 19 representatives, one (Steve Israel) is ” target=”_blank”>the Cook report. The only Jewish Republican representative, Lee Zeldin, is considered a favourite as well (his district is ‘leaning Republican’). If Zeldin makes it, there will be 19 Jewish representatives in the 2016 House.
